Michael Nietsch

Michael Nietsch has an extensive background in procurement and financial management, currently serving as Lead Operational Procurement at Abbott since July 2017, where responsibilities have included team leadership in direct procurement and specialist roles in logistics and procurement. Prior to this, Michael held various positions at Solvay, including Company Accounting Manager for a brief period and roles in regulatory affairs and logistics at Abbott. Experience also includes a position as Controller at Mylan, focusing on financial statements and budget management. Michael's career began as a Werkstudent in the IT Department at Solvay, following the completion of an Industriekaufmann degree from Solvay in 2009.
