Mike Chen

Mike Chen is a Cloud Optimization Engineer at Abbott, specializing in cloud cost optimization and financial management for AWS and Azure enterprise accounts since June 2021. As a Foundation Member of the FinOps Foundation since January 2020, Mike contributed significantly to cloud financial management at TK Elevator, where work included establishing the function with FinOps principles and implementing a real-time cost reporting platform. Previous experience includes IT Project Manager at Aetrio Creative LLC, where Mike led a digital transformation project, and IT Service Manager at thyssenkrupp, managing infrastructure services and migrating North America’s infrastructure to Azure. Mike holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a BS in Construction Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
