Milijan Mudrinic

Milijan Mudrinic is an experienced system architecture and engineering manager at Abbott since June 2025, leading a cross-functional team in laboratory automation solutions and implementing model-based software development. Prior to Abbott, Milijan held several significant roles at Wärtsilä, including Principal Architect for asset lifecycle digital products, Director of Edge platform, and Head of Software Technology for Integrated Bridge Systems, where initiatives spanned IoT and edge computing capabilities, modernising data architecture, and delivering advanced navigation systems. Milijan began the career as a Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, focusing on software for CDMA base stations. Educational qualifications include a PG Certificate in Engineering Management from Bath Spa University, a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique, and foundational studies in science from Lycée Paul Eluard.
