Moamer Shurrab

Moamer Shurrab, PMP, is an experienced professional with a comprehensive background in procurement, project management, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Manager of Procurement at Abbott since February 2007, Moamer leads initiatives focused on margin and profitability improvement across various divisions. Previous roles at Abbott include Project Manager, Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. Supply Planner, and Sr. Equipment Engineer, where Moamer successfully managed product transfers, cost-saving projects, and established supply plans. Moamer's earlier experience includes validation engineering roles at PACIV-USA and Jacobs, and quality engineering at Roche, along with project development and engineering roles at Rodenstock Group, Tyco, and Baxter International Inc. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business from the University of Redlands, a Project Management Certification from the University of California, Irvine, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
