Omar Riyal

Omar Riyal is currently the Divisional Vice President of International Commercial Operations in Transfusion Medicine at Abbott, where they have spent over 21 years developing their career across multiple leadership roles. Their prior positions at Abbott include General Manager for English & Portuguese Africa and Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Japan, India, and China in Transfusion Medicine. Omar holds an MBA focused on strategic leadership and economics from North Park University and has completed the Driving Organizational Change program at Kellogg Executive Education. They also possess a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
