Orlaith McDaid

Orlaith McDaid has diverse experience in the food and nutrition industry, beginning as a QA/R&D Coordinator at James McDaid and Sons Ltd. from June 1999 to April 2000. Orlaith then served as a Scientific Affairs Nutritionist at the World Sugar Research Organisation from September 2005 to January 2006, before becoming Managing Director at NutriSolutions from January 2006 to November 2007. Following this, Orlaith held multiple roles at Abbott from January 2014 to March 2018, including Program Manager for Crisis and Business Continuity Management, Development Technologist, Director of Third Party Manufacturing, Operations & OpEx Manager, Manager of Contract Manufacturing, and Project Manager. Orlaith's educational background includes a BSc and a Master's degree from Dublin City University and the University of Ulster, as well as a Diploma in Management Practice from University College Cork.
