Paul Fahey

Paul Fahey has extensive experience in engineering roles within the medical device industry, primarily in sterilization and manufacturing processes. From August 1996 to July 2008, Paul worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Covidien, focusing on implementing packaging material changes and transferring manufacturing processes. Following this, Paul served as a Sterilisation Engineer at Cordis, Johnson & Johnson Ltd from July 2008 to December 2011, where responsibilities included sterilization validation and supporting regulatory compliance. Paul then transitioned to a Manufacturing Engineer role at Cordis, leading the transfer of Cordis DES products and overseeing packaging activities. From February 2012 to May 2017, Paul advanced to a Senior Manufacturing Engineer position at Abbott Vascular. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 1.1 Honours from the University of Limerick, completed in 2006.
