Peter Akrill

Peter Akrill is a Senior Toxicologist at Abbott, specializing in analytical toxicology with extensive experience in drugs of abuse analysis and the integration of analytical laboratories. Previously, Akrill served as Head of Analytical Services at Abbott, where they managed a team of 30 across multiple labs and led major projects. Akrill also worked as a Higher Scientist at the Health and Safety Laboratory, developing analytical methods for various substances. In addition to their professional roles, Akrill is an active board member of the European Workplace Drug Testing Society and a committee member of the London Toxicology Group and The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists. Akrill holds a degree from Cardiff University.
