Philip Hemken

Philip Hemken is currently a Principal Research Scientist at Abbott Diagnostics, where they have been since 2018. Previously, Philip held several roles at Abbott, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, and worked as a Research Assistant at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and a Chemist at Sigma-Aldrich. Philip completed a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Iowa State University, where they also earned a B.S. in Microbiology. Additionally, they gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory.
