Rachel Steele is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system engineering and project management. Currently serving as a System Engineering Manager at Abbott since June 2021, Rachel has previously held roles such as Senior Project Manager at Gilead Sciences and DevOps Manager at Gap Inc., where significant achievements included managing Agile development across multiple teams and streamlining team operations. Rachel's early career includes a substantial tenure at Kaiser Permanente IT, supervising pharmacy application support services and leading programming efforts, as well as serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, managing air traffic control operations. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Washington and has furthered technical expertise through additional training at Big Nerd Ranch.
