Ringo Yen is a Senior Systems Engineer at Abbott since February 2025, following a role as System Engineer at Roche from September 2017 to February 2025, where Ringo developed software and algorithms for rapid point of care medical devices and established ETL data pipelines for diagnostics. Ringo's experience includes research at Duke University as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on oxygen consumption in tissue-engineered muscles, and as a Research Associate, contributing to the NIH Tissue Chip Program. Additional experience includes R&D at Profusa as an intern and co-founding Luxsano Biomedical to innovate surgical infection prevention methods. Ringo began as a Biomedical Technician with Engineering World Health, repairing medical devices in Nicaragua. Ringo holds both a Master and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
