Samira Tamar

Samira Tamar holds a Ph.D. in Infectiology from Université Laval, where they also completed a Master's in Microbiology. They have extensive experience in the diagnostics field, currently serving as a Senior Ambassador at Abbott since 2009, following roles as Sales Director and Account Director within the company. Prior to joining Abbott, Samira was a Territory Manager at Thermofisher Scientific from 2003 to 2009 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Université Laval focusing on microbial detection using nanotechnology from 2000 to 2002.
