Sandhya Velu

Sandhya Velu, MS, MBA, currently serves as the Maintenance Transformation Manager at Abbott since June 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Artivion, Inc. from August 2018 to June 2025, where Sandhya managed the workflow of engineering teams and steered product compliance initiatives for EU MDR submissions. Earlier positions at Artivion also encompassed project leadership in product development and regulatory submissions, while previous experience at Alcon involved design validation for surgical instruments. Sandhya holds a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, an MBA from Texas State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from The University of Texas at Austin.
