Shell Collins

Shell Collins is currently the Senior Manager of Biocompatibility at Abbott, overseeing a team of Biological Safety Risk Assessors for various medical devices in the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Neuromodulation sectors. With extensive experience in biocompatibility throughout the product lifecycle, Shell has previously held positions such as Scientist Biocompatibility and Manager Biocompatibility at Abbott, as well as a Biological Risk Assessor at St. Jude Medical. Shell's educational background includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from Northern Michigan University and an MBA from Augsburg University. Prior to these roles, Shell was involved in clinical laboratory and research positions, contributing significantly to the field of medical devices.
