Shreya Gupta

Shreya Gupta is a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Abbott, specializing in algorithms for Freestyle Libre Continuous Glucose Monitors since June 2022. Previously, Shreya held positions as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Stryker and a Senior Software Engineer at Abbott, where responsibilities included leading firmware development and documentation for leadless pacemakers and designing verification scripts for device requirements. Earlier experience includes internships and research roles at Battelle, Carnegie Mellon University, and AbiliLife Inc., focusing on neural technology, medical devices, and embedded systems. Shreya holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Shreya is also an active site lead for Women in STEM and Women Leaders of Abbott.
