Shuopeng Yang

Shuopeng Yang is a food safety and quality enthusiast with over 10 years of experience in the industry, specializing in cheese and dairy, meat, beverages, and dessert products. Currently serving as a Regional Project Manager for Food Safety at Abbott since 2023, Shuopeng has previously held roles such as Senior Quality Analyst at The Kraft Heinz Company and Food Scientist at Mérieux NutriSciences. Shuopeng has conducted extensive research in food safety, contributing to projects at various institutions, including the Institute for Food Safety and Health. With numerous certifications in food safety and a Master’s degree in Food Safety and Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Shuopeng is well-versed in FDA, USDA, and CFIA regulations.
