Sinéad Morrin is a Platform Lead for the Brain Health science platform at Abbott Nutrition, currently contributing to advancements in the field. Sinéad previously held roles as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at Abbott, focusing on gut health. Before that, they were a post-doctoral researcher at Teagasc, where they worked on functional foods to enhance gut microbiome health. Sinéad earned a PhD from University College Dublin/Teagasc, investigating the mucosal glycome's relationship with bacteria, and completed an industrial placement at Alltech during their undergraduate studies in Biotechnology at Maynooth University.
