Stanimir Popovic

Stanimir Popovic is a Principal Scientist at Abbott, specializing in chemical science and technology since 2022. They gained their PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, where they conducted research in the Synthetic Organic Chemistry Group from 2010 to 2015. Prior to their current role, Stanimir worked as a Technical Evaluations Specialist and Process R&D Chemist at Alcami Corporation, and as a Senior Scientist at Abbott Healthcare Products B.V. Their extensive expertise includes process development, scale-up, and the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Stanimir also holds an MSc and a graduate degree in Organic Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Belgrade.
