Stefan Driessen is an accomplished professional in the field of biometrics and data management, currently serving as the Head of Global Biometrics and Data Center at Abbott Laboratories since April 2010. Driessen also holds a prominent position as a Council Member and President of the European Federation of Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry (EFSPI) since January 2010. Previously, Driessen was the VP Head of Global Biometrics at Solvay Pharmaceuticals until August 2011 and led biometrics at Organon in the Netherlands from 1991 to 1996. Driessen began an academic career as an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Wageningen University from 1986 to 1991. Educationally, Driessen attained a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistics from Eindhoven University of Technology and holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from Radboud University.
