Stephen Ruether, MEM, PMP, is a seasoned professional in the fields of microbiology and regulatory affairs, with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. At Abbott since July 2016, Stephen holds the positions of Manager for Sterilization & Microbiology and Project Manager for Regulatory Affairs, following a progression through the roles of Staff Microbiologist and Senior Microbiologist. Prior to Abbott, Stephen worked at Medtronic from April 2009 to July 2016 as a Senior Microbiologist and Microbiologist. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Laboratory Technician/Research and Vet Assistant at Protatek International from January 2007 to January 2009. Stephen earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University.
