Steven Day is an experienced cybersecurity and software engineering professional with a robust background in medical device development. Currently serving as Principal Cybersecurity Architect at Abbott since January 2017, Steven oversees the entire product security lifecycle, including design, risk management, and incident response. Prior to Abbott, Steven held several roles at St. Jude Medical from August 2004 to January 2017, culminating in the position of Principal Software Engineer/Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing enterprise-level applications and leading project development teams. Steven holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
