Susan Brophy

Susan Brophy, PhD, is the Senior Director of Assay Product Development at Abbott's Core Diagnostics, where they focus on integrating new technologies into assay design. They began their career at Abbott in 2004 as a Principal Scientist, engineering proteins and enhancing diagnostic properties to improve patient care. Over the years, Susan held several key positions, including R&D Director and lead for Companion Diagnostic Organization, driving innovation in immunoassays and clinical chemistry. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
