Vikas Patel

Vikas Patel, Ph.D., is a Principal Engineer and Subject Matter Expert at Abbott - Corporate Engineering, bringing over 8 years of experience in manufacturing and R&D. Previously, Vikas worked at ArcelorMittal in various engineering roles and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ryerson University. Vikas earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Ryerson University, along with a Master’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. Vikas received the prestigious “2017 Outstanding Young Manufacturing Award” from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers for exemplary contributions to the field.
