William Silvers

William Silvers is a Senior Quality Manager at Abbott, bringing extensive experience in the biomedical industry. They previously served as a Senior Scientist and held various quality assurance roles at Abbott from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Silvers was a Postdoctoral Researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they designed novel PET radiotracers and managed interdisciplinary research teams from 2012 to 2017. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from Louisiana State University, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to significant research resulting in publications and a patent. Silvers holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Texas State University.
