Ankit Bhatta

Ankit Bhatta is a Senior Scientist in Immunology at AbbVie, bringing extensive independent and collaborative experience in innate immunity, virology, and molecular methodologies. Ankit's doctoral research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School focused on the functional roles of long noncoding RNA and micropeptides in regulating innate immune responses against bacterial and viral threats. Prior to this, Ankit held research roles at institutions such as Weill Cornell Medical College and Rockefeller University, where they contributed to the study of drug resistance in malaria and developed tissue culture systems for Hepatitis B virus. Ankit obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
