Ale Ortega Diaz is an experienced education leader with a strong commitment to addressing educational inequity. Currently serving as Managing Director of Alumni Leadership Partnerships at Teach For America, Ale is responsible for developing and implementing a state-wide school leadership pipeline strategy. Previous roles at Teach For America include Director and Manager of Talent & Leadership, where Ale focused on career acceleration and leadership development for alumni in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Earlier experience includes grant writing for Paul Quinn College and teaching as a Dual-Language Elementary Teacher at Fort Worth ISD. Ale's foundation in education began as a Corps Member with Teach For America, complemented by academic achievements at Texas Christian University, where Ale earned a double major in Political Science and English.
