Cheri Klein

Cheri Klein has extensive experience in clinical pharmacology, serving in key leadership roles at AbbVie from August 2013 to January 2023, including Vice President of Clinical Pharmacology, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of the Clinical Pharmacology department and various therapeutic areas. Previous positions included Executive Scientific Director and Senior Director, focusing on clinical pharmacology efforts for neglected tropical diseases and supporting critical drug development initiatives such as Humira and HIV programs. Prior to AbbVie, Cheri Klein held multiple positions at Abbott from February 2002 to December 2012, culminating as Director of Clinical Pharmacology, responsible for drug development strategies and achieving regulatory approvals for several key medications. Cheri Klein holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy with a focus on Pharmacokinetics from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Chicago.
