Dan Bow

Dan Bow is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional with extensive experience in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK). Currently serving as Senior Director at AbbVie since January 2013, Dan leads a team focused on drug transporter assays and provides pre-clinical DMPK support for various projects. Dan also chairs AbbVie’s Global Transporter Core Team and represents DMPK for neuroscience and pain initiatives. Prior to AbbVie, Dan held positions at Abbott as a Senior Scientist II and completed postdoctoral research at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where work centered on drug and protein trafficking. Dan's earlier research at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences involved organic anion transporters. Educationally, Dan earned a PhD from the University of Aberdeen.
