Frauke Pohlki

Frauke Pohlki is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry with extensive experience in neuroscience discovery research. Currently serving as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at AbbVie since July 2020, Pohlki has progressed through various roles within the company since 2013, including Principal Research Scientist II and Principal Research Scientist I. Prior to AbbVie, Pohlki held senior scientist positions at Abbott from 2008 to 2012, where responsibilities included leading lab functions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Heidelberg University, a Postdoctoral fellowship in Total Synthesis from Boston University, and a Diplom in Chemistry from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
