Ian Smith

Ian Smith is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and sustainability. Currently serving as the Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at AbbVie, they lead initiatives that align with corporate strategy and stakeholder expectations. Prior to this, Ian held roles including Executive Director and Senior Counsel at Allergan, where they managed legal counsel for market access and product launches, as well as Senior Associate General Counsel focusing on corporate governance. They earned a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and a B.A. in History from Brigham Young University.
