Ippei Usui

Ippei Usui is a highly experienced scientist specializing in drug discovery and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie since December 2020. Prior to this role, Ippei held positions as a Senior Scientist at Expansion Therapeutics and as a Senior Medicinal Chemist at Sirenas, focusing on natural product discovery and synthesis. With expertise in immunotherapy for oncology and autoimmune diseases, as well as the human microbiome, Ippei's career includes significant contributions to anti-HIV treatments and antibody-drug conjugates.
