Iris Kassem has extensive experience in eyecare clinical development, including current roles as Medical Director at AbbVie and Director of Ophthalmology at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Previously, Iris served as an Associate Professor and Clinician-Scientist in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed an Ophthalmology residency at North Shore-LIJ Health System. Iris earned an MD and PhD in Medicine and Neuroscience from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, following a BS in Animal Physiology from Cornell University.
