John B Morris

John B. Morris is the CMC Scientific Director and Therapeutic Area Lead at AbbVie Inc., where they have been responsible for the CMC development of pharmaceutical products since 2013. With a strong background in Regulatory Requirements and FDA interactions, they have overseen global regulatory filings for over ten marketed products in more than 150 countries. Previously, they served as Group Leader of Analytical Chemistry at Abbott Laboratories from 1993 to 2002, where they authored regulatory correspondence and supervised chemists in developing early transition compounds. John holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Augustana College.
