John Engelhardt

John Engelhardt is a Senior Director of Immuno-Oncology Discovery at AbbVie, a position held since 2021. Previously, they worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they progressed from Scientist II to Director, contributing to the development of immune modulatory antibody therapeutics for cancer treatment between 2011 and 2021. John also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF from 2006 to 2011. They earned a BS in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, John is currently affiliated with the University of California at Berkeley and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
