Jonathan Kern

Jonathan Kern is currently the Vice President of Global Alliances at AbbVie, a position they have held since 2023. They previously served as Senior Director and Alliance Project Leader at AbbVie from 2017 to 2023. Kern began their career at Merck, where they worked as a Sr. Research Scientist and Biology Program Team Leader from 2005 to 2008. They earned a PhD in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kern also holds a BA in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Augustana College.
