Lance Kupka

Lance Kupka is an experienced leader in clinical data systems, currently serving as Director of Clinical Data Systems (EDC/IRT) at AbbVie since January 2021, where oversight of a large team in the EDC and IRT domains is a primary responsibility. Prior to this role, Lance spent nearly nine years at Syneos Health in various Associate Director positions, focusing on vendor strategy, resource metrics, and clinical data management programming, overseeing a team of 16 programmers across North America and Europe. Lance's career began at Pfizer, Inc., where responsibilities included managing pCROs for Global Clinical Data Services and serving as a subject matter expert in Oracle Clinical database design. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Eastern Connecticut State University, earned from 1990 to 1994.
