Lars Greiffenberg is currently the Senior Director of R&D Information Research and a Research Fellow in Library and Language Information Science at AbbVie, where they focus on enhancing knowledge extraction and translation across complex sources. Previously, they held various leadership roles at Sanofi, where they led global initiatives in Translational Medicine and Biology IT. In addition to their work at AbbVie, Lars serves on the boards of the PRISME Forum and the Pistoia Alliance, promoting collaboration in pharmaceutical R&D information management. Lars earned both a Master’s degree and a PhD in Microbiology from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.
