Leanne Goon

Leanne Goon is the Associate Director of Discovery Operations at AbbVie, where they oversee Compound Management, Laboratory Management, and Procurement Operations for Discovery since 2018. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientific Researcher at Genentech from 2013 to 2017, focusing on Small Molecule Drug Discovery. Leanne also held the position of Associate Director at Exelixis, specializing in Small Molecule Discovery Research, from 2017 to 2018. They began their academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology between 1996 and 2000.
