Michael Phillips is a Global BISO Program Office Lead at AbbVie, where they focus on aligning cybersecurity with business strategy. As a founding partner of vSEC LLC, Michael has innovated the fractional CISO business model, supporting the vCISO community. Currently, they also teach Information Security Management and IT Auditing at DePaul University, guiding future professionals in the IT security field. Michael's extensive background includes roles as CISO at Rosenthal Collins Group and director of IT security at UBS, among others, bolstered by an MBA from Kellogg Executive Education and multiple cybersecurity certifications.
