Rupa Dainer

Rupa Dainer, MD FASA, currently serves as Group Medical Director for Oncology and Senior Medical Director for ImmunoOncology at AbbVie, where the focus is on innovative medicines for complex health issues. Additionally, Rupa is a member of the Board of Directors for Dream Foundation, which supports terminally-ill adults, and holds a position on the Veteran's Advisory Council at Uniformed Services University as a Clinical Associate Professor in Anesthesiology. Previous roles include Medical Director at AstraZeneca, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Champz Health, and Chief Surgical Officer at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia. Rupa's extensive leadership experience is complemented by a background in the U.S. Navy, where responsibilities included leading the Pediatric Anesthesia Division. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Uniformed Services University and a Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
