Ryan Ellis has extensive experience in chemical engineering, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. From August 2020 to July 2023, Ryan worked at AbbVie as a Senior Scientist I and later as Senior Scientist II within the Center of Excellence for Isolation and Separations Technologies, focusing on the development of scalable processes for crystallization, filtration, and drying of active pharmaceutical ingredients for drug candidates. Prior to AbbVie, Ryan served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2012 to June 2015, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2015 to July 2020, where the doctoral research involved studying solution processing of chalcogenide photovoltaic materials.
