Samuel Spaulding is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in cloud engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Enterprise Cloud Engineering Director at AbbVie since January 2023, Samuel is responsible for the engineering, implementation, and operation of public cloud services within a hybrid-cloud environment. Previously, Samuel held the position of Director of Cloud Hosting Architecture/Engineering at Altera Digital Health from 2014 to 2022, where responsibilities included guiding a cross-functional team in application deployments and infrastructure projects. Earlier, as Principal Architect at Altera Digital Health, Samuel developed enterprise architecture and strategic plans. Samuel’s career also includes significant roles at Verizon Wireless, where oversight of budgeting for IT projects and management of data center migration initiatives were key responsibilities. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
