Steven Leiser

Steven Leiser is a neurophysiologist with over 18 years of experience in drug discovery, specializing in translational biomarker research that connects animal studies with clinical trials. Currently a Board Member at the International Pharmaco-EEG Society, they previously held roles as Senior Principal Scientist at Cerevel Therapeutics and Senior Director at PsychoGenics. With a strong background in CNS disorders, including Alzheimer's and schizophrenia, Steven has established multiple electrophysiological platforms and automated systems to enhance drug discovery processes. They earned their Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Drexel University College of Medicine and a B.S. in Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
