Susan E. Bolin

Susan E. Bolin, DVM, PhD, is a Senior Clinical Research Veterinarian at AbbVie, providing veterinary support for pre-clinical drug discovery research, particularly in oncology, dermatology, and safety pharmacology. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist and Group Leader in Oncology Preclinical Discovery Research at Cephalon Inc/Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they managed teams and contributed to the development of compounds achieving IND status. Susan's early career included roles as a postdoctoral fellow and veterinary oncologist, with a focus on cancer research and animal health at institutions such as the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute and the University of New Mexico. They obtained their DVM from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and completed a DVM residency and PhD program at Purdue University, specializing in cancer biology.
