Tom Borchardt

Tom Borchardt is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Molecular Profiling and Drug Delivery at AbbVie, Inc. Since 2022, Tom has leveraged extensive expertise developed throughout a diverse career that includes roles such as Director of NCE Formulation Sciences and Clinical Supply Operations at AbbVie from 2014 to 2022, and Senior Group Leader at Abbott Laboratories. Prior to that, Tom held positions as Principal Research Scientist/Group Leader at Pharmacia Corporation and Research Investigator at G.D. Searle. Tom earned a BA in Chemistry from St. Norbert College and a Ph.D. in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Purdue University.
