Daniela Hurtado

Daniela Hurtado is an experienced journalist currently working at ABC13 Houston since March 2022. Previously, Daniela served as a Multimedia Journalist at ABC 7 WWSB-TV from January 2020 to February 2022, and as a Crime, Courts, and Investigative Multimedia Journalist at KFYR TV from September 2017 to December 2019. Hurtado has also worked at WUFT-TV First at Five in various roles including News Anchor, News Producer, and Health Anchor. Daniela started their journalism career at Miami Dade College, where Daniela was the Editor-in-Chief of The Reporter. Hurtado holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications News from the University of Florida and an Associate's Degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from Miami Dade College.
