Rachel Briers

Rachel Briers is a Broadcast Meteorologist with extensive experience in television weather reporting. Currently, Rachel serves at ABC13 Houston since November 2018, delivering weather segments during key evening shows. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Chief Meteorologist at KWES-TV NewsWest 9 from July 2016 to October 2018, and worked as a Meteorologist at KLBK-TV from June 2014 to 2016. Rachel began their career with internships at WFAA-TV and KBTX Media in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M University, completed in 2014.
