Joel Lyons

Joel Lyons serves as the Deputy Managing Editor at Good Morning America Digital with ABC News since December 2018, following a role as Digital Editor at Good Morning America (Digital). Previously, Joel worked at A Plus from June 2015 to December 2018 as Arts & Entertainment Editor and Senior Editor, where editorial strategy for Entertainment, Culture, and Sports was managed. Additional experience includes positions at New York Daily News as a Digital Copy Editor and Web Producer, Black Enterprise as a Copy Editor, SAMBA Brands Management as a Marketing Associate, Snackable Media as a Content Editor, and 944 Magazine as a Writer and Copy Editor. Joel began in journalism as a summer intern at NY1 News.
