Michael O'Keefe has extensive experience in the media industry, currently serving as an Assignment Editor and Newswriter at ABC News since August 2015. Prior to this role, Michael contributed to ABC News - Good Morning America from October 2005 to August 2015, holding positions as a DGA Production Associate and EVS Operator. Earlier experience includes a role as Script Coordinator at Viacom and Editor/Assistant Manager at BITMAX, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for Statistics at California State University, Northridge. Michael began a career in writing at CBS News Radio - KNX 1070 AM. Michael holds an MBA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Finance from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism/Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
