Jayne Hammersley is currently the Director of Antibody Development at Abcam, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Antibody Discovery Optimisation at Abcam from 2021 to 2023, and worked as a Scientist I at MedImmune from 2008 to 2016. Jayne also completed a student placement at GlaxoSmithKline in 2002-2003. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology.
